Xiaomi Redmi 4A to Launch on Monday For Rs 6,000

Xiaomi is looking forward to launch another budget smartphone in the Indian market in the form of Redmi 4A on March 20. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4A smartphone will be available exclusively on Amazon.in. The e-tailer has confirmed the Xiaomi Redmi 4A launch by releasing a teaser of the same.

The Xiaomi Redmi 4A was launched in China last year for a price of RMB 599, which roughly translates to Rs 6,000.


The Redmi 4A smartphone is expected to be Reliance Jio compatible (4G VoLTE support) and will reportedly be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor along with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage with support for microSD card.

The Xiaomi Redmi 4A will be a metal body smartphone and will offer a 13MP rear camera with LED Flash along with a 5MP front camera. Xiaomi hasn’t provided a fingerprint sensor on the Redmi 4A and the device is backed by a 3,120mAh battery.



The Xiaomi Redmi 4A runs an older Android Marshmallow-based MIUI 8 interface. There could a Rose Gold colour variant of the smartphone as well.
