To disable extension first type in chrome://extensions in address bar which will directly take you to extension settings. There unmark the Enabled check box to which ever extension you think you don’t use frequently. That’ll temporarily remove the extension. Just enable it back whenever you want to use it. Also remove unused extensions.

Step 3 : Check for Malware
Apart from internet security your computer may be corrupted with virus and malware. So make your you run a virus scan. That should surely fix the error. It worked for me.
Step 4 : Create new user profile
If it still continues, your user profile may have got corrupted. You need to create a new user profile. To create one:First exit chrome. And search for “Default” folder in the root directory ofchrome. Follow below given addresses.
Windows XP : %USERPROFILE%Local SettingsApplication DataGoogleChromeUser DataWindows Vista/ Windows 7/
Windows 8 :%LOCALAPPDATA%GoogleChromeUser DataMac OS X : ~/Library/Application Support/Google/Chrome/Default
Linux: ~/.config/google-chrome/Default
Rename that folder to “Backup Default” and start chrome again. After you start the chrome a new “Default” folder will automatically be created. Where all your bookmarks and extension will be stored again. And the “backup default” will not be used as it’s corrupted some of it’s info will be required for chrome.
