Jio GigaFiber Broadband Service provide 600GB at Rs.500 Plan, See More Plans of Jio Broadband Service

Jio is now in India become one of the largest network providers. They offered free 4G internet and unlimited calling. Now Jio is going to plant Broadband connection in India at cheapest rate . Includes plans at Rs.500 about 600GB for 30 Days at a speed of 15 Mbps.

Reliance Jio is setting up its base to fight the mighty Airtel broadband in India, with its Jio GigaFiber broadband service. And it seems, for Rs 500 you can subscribe to a 15Mbps internet plan, bundled with 500GB data.

This service is currently available to consumers in Mumbai and Pune, but we expect more cities to be added in the coming months. The Jio GigaFiber will be offered free of cost to users for 90 days (or 3 months), as part of the Jio Welcome Offer, as this report suggests.

Unlike Jio’s 4G mobile service, we can be rest assured that the broadband speeds, running on fiber optics, will be much more consistent.

Here’s what the plans on Jio GigaFiber might look like;

Plans starting from Rs 500 with data limit of 600GB sound unreal, but that’s exactly what Jio intends to do, break Airtel’s existing monopoly in this segment. These plans are even better than other private internet providers like Excitel or Spectranet.

For faster speeds than 60 Mbps, you’ve got these plans to look at;

It’ll be interesting to see if and when these plans are officially rolled out, whether Airtel will be forced to make its plans cheaper.

One big point worth noting is that the Jio GigaFiber broadband will only work with its GigaFiber router, that according to JioCare will cost you somewhere between Rs 4,000 to Rs 6,000 (one-time purchase cost).

That said, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to invest in the device, especially when the plans are so affordable, yet still giving you fast internet speeds. We can’t wait!
