(Shocking News) Google Removed UC Browser From Play Store

UC Browser, one of the popular browser apps, has been removed from Google Play Store.

UC Browser is a mobile browser developed by the Chinese mobile Internet company UCWeb and is owned by Alibaba Group of China. Originally launched in April 2004 as a J2ME-only application, it is available on a number of platforms including Android, BlackBerry OS, iOS, Java ME, Symbian, Windows Phone and Microsoft Windows

But happy news for UC fans is that UC Browser Mini app is still available on the PlayStore.

It is not clear what's the reason for removal. Google and UC Browser have not disclosed any such notices. The Government of India recently observed that UC Browser was transmitting information to Chinese servers illegally. The Chinese Internet giant Alibaba is the owner of UC Browser.

Some reports claims that, UC Browser is taken down due to misleading News and Redirecting Malicious Links. Still there is no Official statement from both UC & Google till now.

Please note that this removal doesn’t affect the existing users of the browsers and you can still download the app from other sources like apkmirror. We feel that, it just a temporary issue and UC Browser will be back on playstore soon!
