Xiaomi Launched Redmi 5A in India At Just Rs.4,999 Only




Xiaomi launched its 'Desh ka Smartphone' Redmi 5A in today at a starting price of Rs 4,999 for the base 2GB RAM/16GB storage version. The Redmi 5A will also be available in a 3GB RAM/32GB storage version that will cost buyers in India Rs 6,999. The Redmi 5A is a successor to Redmi 4A which sold four million units within eight months of its launch.





The smartphone sports a 5.0-inch HD (720x1280 ) display. It is powered by the quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 SoC with Adreno 308 GPU. The device comes with 2GB/3G RAM and 16GB/32GB of internal storage with support for expandable storage via microSD card. It is backed by a 3000 mAh battery and is available in Gold, Rose Gold, and Gray colour options. On the camera front, the Redmi 5A has a 13MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, LED flash and PDAF. The selfie camera is a 5MP shooter with f/2.0 aperture.





The Redmi 5A is a well-received phone in China and of course, the company is expecting it to be a major hit among the masses! Coming to specifications, the device has a 5-inch screen with a resolution of 1280x720 pixels. The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 425 processor, clocked at 1.4 GHz!


The Redmi 5A will be available from December 7 across Flipkart, Mi.com, and Mi Home stores, followed by offline retailers including Mi Preferred Partners in the subsequent weeks.
