The OnePlus 7 series will be announced May 14th in 3 countries

It’s that time of the year again. OnePlus is set to refresh its smartphone lineup with a successor to the OnePlus 6, announced back on May 16, 2018. Today, the company has announced that it will hold three launch events in the UK, US, and India simultaneously to announce the new OnePlus 7 series.
With the tagline “Go Beyond Speed,” the new OnePlus smartphones are expected to once again pack the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset—the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855. Credible rumors point to there being two new OnePlus smartphones—a standard OnePlus 7 with a similar design to the OnePlus 6T but with updated internals, and a OnePlus 7 Pro model with a 90Hz QHD+ display, 48MP camera, and faster 30W charging. OnePlus has confirmed that a “Pro” model will be coming with 5G support and a much better display, but they didn’t go into further detail.

Launch Events

Tickets for the London launch event are on sale now via OnePlus.com for £16/€18 until Thursday, April 25th. Tickets for the New York launch event will also be available at a discounted price of $20 starting April 25th at 11AM ET and lasting until April 27th at 11AM ET. Once the Early Bird tickets are sold out, Standard and Plus One tickets will be available for purchase.

Go Beyond Speed at the OnePlus 7 Series Launch Event

23 April, London. OnePlus is inviting the world to Go Beyond Speed, in a series of global launch events at 4pm BST on Tuesday 14th May. At OnePlus we build devices alongside our community and we’re again going to launch the device with them – tickets for the London event at the Printworks in London are now on sale via OnePlus.com. Early bird tickets will be sold at a discounted price of £16/€18 until April 25.
Previous OnePlus launch events have seen tickets sell out very quickly, so people are advised to book quickly. The OnePlus 6 launch in London last year sold out in just 10 hours.
Attendees will be among the first in the world to see and try the latest OnePlus devices, in our biggest ever community events with an estimated turnout of more than 8,000 attendees worldwide. For those who can’t make it in person, OnePlus community members across the globe can also watch the launch event live through a livestream hosted at OnePlus.com and available through OnePlus channels on YouTube and Twitter and Facebook.
For the first time OnePlus will present a truly global launch with three events in three continents occurring simultaneously. Community is at the heart of everything we do by hosting events across the world we hope that as many people as possible can join us for the launch of this exciting new chapter for OnePlus.
