After launching the Krypton V50DA and V50DC in April, Videocon has launched yet another budget smartphone in India.

Krypton V50JG, the new phone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box, and comes pre-loaded with Eros now app, which gives users a free six-month membership to more than 3,000 movies and music videos along with free games on Gameloft app.It also comes with Smart Gesture support, SwiftKey keyboard and more.

Coming to the other features, the Videocon Krypton V50JG sports a 5-inch HD IPS 2.5D curved display with a layer of Dragontrail X Glass on top. The device is powered by a 64-bit 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek processor, mated to a Mali T720 GPU and 2GB of RAM. It comes with 16-gigs of internal memory, which is further expandable up to 64GB via a microSD card.

Camera department on the Krypton V50JG includes a 13-megapixel primary snapper with a Samsung ISOCELL sensor and phase detection autofocus for fast focusing and a dual-LED flash.

A 5-megapixel secondary shooter is available for capturing selfies or making video calls. In terms of connectivity, the device offers dual-SIM slots, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. It is fuelled by a 3,000mAh battery.

The Videocon Krypton V50JG has been priced at Rs 10,000, and comes in Royal Blue or Space Grey colour variants. It will be available via major brick-and-mortar retail stores and on e-commerce portals in the country.
