The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 is a definite winner when it comes to those who are looking bigger screens on a budget. Currently, the number of midrange smartphones in the market is irresistible. However, the Redmi Note 4 packs a punch even when compared to the Samsung Galaxy Note 7, which by the way is being recalled due to battery overheating. Some of these handsets have reportedly exploded while charging.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 is packed with a deca-core Mediatek Helio X20 chipset processor and users can get more from their phones in terms of device's speed. A 13MP rear camera, 3GB RAM, Mali-T880 MP4 GPU and 64GB internal storage are some other top features of Redmi Note 4. It comes with a fingerprint touch capability and soft keys.

The Redmi Note 4 is a bit thinner than its predecessor but heavier than Note 3. It has a large 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 1080x1920p and pixel density of 401ppi. The screen uses the IPS LCD display technology. The Note 4 also has a 64-bit MediaTek Helio X20 SoC, a deca-core processor with a clock speed of up to 2.1GHz.
The 64GB internal storage in Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 is expandable up to 256GB via microSD card. The 13MP rear camera has Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF), aperture of f/2.0 and dual-tone LED flash. There is a 5MP camera on the front for selfies. It also has a similar aperture and can record videos in 1080p. The rear camera features include digital zoom, geo-tagging and self-timer.

The Redmi Note 4 has dual SIM support and 4G LTE connectivity. However, it has a battery capacity that packs a serious punch to the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 that is currently facing battery issues.  The Redmi Note 4 comes with a giant non-removable 4,100 mAh battery unit that supports rapid charging technology.

Nashville Chatter reports that the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 (64GB) variant is available at Xiaomi for just $239.99, which makes the device one of the best options in the sub-$250 category. The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 price is a whopping $850.
