Xiaomi 100W Super Charge Turbo could soon become a reality

Last month, Chinese smartphone maker 
Xiaomi announced the 100W Super Charge Turbo fast charging technology. Some reports revealed that the company also mentioned that it has also started the mass production of the same.The company president Lin Bin has now revealed that Xiaomi is working very hard with the mass production of the technology.


Xiaomi claims that the 100W Super Charge technology can charge a 4,000 mAh battery completely in just 17 minutes. It is expected that the 100W Super Charge technology of Xiaomi will give competition to 
Oppo's VOOC charging technology. Apart from this, Bin has not mentioned anything about the official launch of the technology or when the company will start incorporating it in its smartphones.

It is said that Xiaomi is working on its latest flagship smartphone which is expected to be powered by Qualcomm's high-end Snapdragon 855 processor. It is also said that the company might incorporate Super Charge Turbo technology in the smartphone. The Chinese manufacturer also released a video explaining the 100W Super Charge Turbo fast charging technology.

The video talks about the ability of 100W Super Charging which is capable of charging a 4,000 mAh battery in just 17 minutes. In the same video the company has also compared the 100W Super Charging technology to Oppo's VOOC charging tech. Xiaomi explains that the VOOC charging can just charge a 3,700 mAh battery only to 65% in 17 minutes.

Recently, Xiaomi has announced that it is all set to launch its latest budget smartphone in India. The new smartphone of the company is specially designed for the selfie lovers. It is expected that Xiaomi will expand its Y series of smartphones with the launch of Xiaomi Redmi Y3. As revealed by the company the smartphone will sport a 32MP selfie shooter.
